ReplyDeleteHahaha, nice drawing! Where I work, the AC is set to keep my room at a chilly, meat-locker-like climate, so I sometimes find myself warming my hands in front of the Cintiq (usually when I've lost circulation in my fingers).

Haha holy crap, yes. I was so excited to potentially use the burning furnace-like heat of my cintiq for warmth in my under-heated apartment this winter, but it only seems to get hot in the summer. Whyyyyy?

ReplyDeleteOkay, so I don't actually duct tape ice packs to my cintiq, but at work I WOULD put a fan right behind it that would blow into the vents. This decreased the lava hotness by one degree, but maybe its worth a shot.
Seems like I'm not the only one who gets attacked by these things in the summer. Wacom needs to make a Cintiq/AC unit hybrid.

Steph: I'd use a fan, but there are no more plugs in this room. :\ Maybe if I buy one of those Japanese hand fans...
Haha! Loving it because it is sooo true. >.< Yea I do what Steph said, put a fan behind it and it cools it down. Maybe you can come up with a rigging system using hand fans that will cool it down.
