Drunken Neighbors Who Re-Introduce Themselves Even Though They've Talked to You Many Times Before

As I extended my hand to his, I noticed a red blotch on his hand. I wanted to pull away, but the constraints of etiquitte made me follow through. We shook hands as he re-introduced himself to me. I pulled away and the tackiness of that skinless patch transferred itself to my hand. One day (and multiple washes) later, I believe I still feel it.

Next time I will just wave and say, "Hey...how's it going?"

By the way, I just noticed that this is the 100th post on "Cuter in Bunny Ears!!" Thanks to all of the awesome guest artists who collaborated with me to make the world a cuter place. Let's keep going, shall we?

Comic-Con Nerds

Fawn and I are back from another Comic-Con International. This year, amidst our usual indulgences of art books and freebies, we tried to give back a little by adding cuteness...bunny-ear-style.

And the biggest nerds of all...

Lizards That Don't Know How Scary They Are

I've been encountering lizards around the house lately. I don't mind picking them up, but I was thinking...that's probably because they always act like pussies. If they'd take some notes from snakes (hissing, rattling tails, threatening to draw blood if you come one inch closer), I'd be more likely to just say hello and move along. Until lizards grow balls...I'll pick them up and give them bunny ears.

By the way, Fawn and I will be at Comic-Con tomorrow. We'll be wearing these shirts to get the "Cuter in Bunny Ears" blog some exposure. Come say hi if you spot two pink nerds in bunny ears.

Bear Attacks

I'll be camping with Fawn and some friends in a few weeks. I hear the bears are bigger in California, so I'll be sure to pack some jumbo bunny ears, just in case.

Second-Place Ping Pong Trophies

GUEST ARTIST: Fawn Veerasunthorn

Fawn was in a ping pong tournament at Nickelodeon last week and after days of battling her co-workers, she ended one win short of first place. What can you do with that bittersweet, second-place trophy? Put bunny ears on it, of course (or scratch out "Runner-Up" and engrave "Champion").

(I got swamped with work again, thus the Monday guest artist. Thanks, Fawn!)

Minions

Go see Illumination Entertainment's first movie, Despicable Me, which opens today. I got to view an early screening of it a few weeks ago and I can say that it's gagged up really well...especially when it comes to these little yellow guys. Very funny movie with a cute, endearing story.

FUN FACT UPDATE: After making this bunny-minion mash-up, one of the Illumination directors saw my image and passed it to the "Despicable Me" marketing team. Shortly afterward, a "Cuter in Bunny Ears"-inspired opener was made for the "Despicable Me" DVD. Then they asked me to storyboard a teaser, which became the Illumination Entertainment title card before the movie "Hop."

Radioactively Hot Cintiqs

Alright, Valley...you're a LITTLE too hot for my tastes today. My Cintiq surface is like a Slip-and-Slide.
